We are excited to see you at auditions for our 2023/24 season.

We will allot up to 5 minutes per audition which should include a short, memorized monologue and song/song portion which best showcases vocal strengths. Accompaniment music is required and should be digital, with no vocals. No acappella songs will be accepted. Please email us a digital link to your musical background track, so that we can have it downloaded and prepared for your student. Please also include your child's name, age and which group they are auditioning in. Groups are designated by letter. Our email address is: TheaterAcademyofDelmarva@gmail.com.

Please sign up for the group that matches your child's age. Each age group has the option to audition on Saturday or Sunday for your convenience. Once everyone in your group has completed their individual audition, we will proceed to a group dance audition. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing that allows for movement, and bring jazz/ballet shoes if you have them.

Our two productions will include one Rising Stars Musical (Beginner to Intermediate level performed in November) and one Main Stage Musical (Advanced Level performed in April). Students may request to participate in one or both shows, but based on limited slots, the director will determine the best fit for each student. Some students may have the opportunity to be cast in both shows depending on space and ability. Practices will be mainly held on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

Please provide an email that you check regularly, as we will be sending registration forms to complete electronically prior to the audition. Please see our website for character descriptions, information about our company and programs, and details on tuition. Theater Academy of Delmarva is a Christian-based organization striving to provide a wholesome, family-friendly environment for kids age 8-19. We have high expectations regarding behavior, language, attire and anything that would conflict with the wholesome environment we're trying to provide. While anyone is welcome to audition, we require everyone to respect our company's policies regarding these matters. A contract outlining behavioral and scheduling expectations will be reviewed on-site at auditions.

Practices for both shows will begin in September. We are looking forward to another exciting season.
